He's taking a metaphor too far, though you could call it idolatry.
Idolatry is the worship of objects and people, though what Feminism does is entirely secular.
It does seem fairly pagan, and there has been a resurgence of faux-paganism since Christianity started declining.
I tend to think of it in terms if ideology, personally.
I don't think there's much difference between Religion and ideology. The only difference is the concept of who made the rules. It's all a question of morality and morals are quite subjective.

Btw the stat for homelessness on that chart is wrong, I've just noticed. It's actually 90% of people on the streets are male and something like 72% to 75% total homelessness.
