off grid problems xD

2018-12-13 05:29:23 UTC

It's a very strange tale man

2018-12-13 05:29:31 UTC

I couldn't believe it

2018-12-13 05:33:48 UTC

I am listening to it now, I seen the movie it inspired.

2018-12-13 05:33:59 UTC

Creepy fucking movie too

2018-12-13 05:44:50 UTC

Was the movie any good? I was thinking about watching it.

2018-12-13 05:45:57 UTC

It didn't get a great rotten tomatoes review though.

2018-12-13 05:46:15 UTC

I didnt mind it, might be more interesting now knowing the true story, apparently there is a non english movie that was done better if you want to seek that one out instead, I've only seen the American movie though, and that was a while ago now

2018-12-13 05:53:04 UTC

also child acting not the greatest

2018-12-13 05:58:40 UTC

I don't understand how people can claim they were manipulated into something like child torture

2018-12-13 06:00:08 UTC

I feel like if you are so weak of the mind that you can legitimately be manipulated into such a thing then you where always a danger to your children, I am curious though, is there any information on the father of the boys?

2018-12-13 06:00:39 UTC

or how the boy who survived is doing?

2018-12-13 06:00:44 UTC

That's a good question. I don't remember if they touched on that in the podcast.

2018-12-13 06:01:26 UTC

they didn't, I just finished it, they get very wrapped up in the more surreal elements on the story that they really failed to talk about the more human elements

2018-12-13 06:05:14 UTC

Ondrej and Yakub were Klara's little kids, she was really young when she had them and the father of the boys left her after a few years later and from them the woman developed a difficult and aggressive character, leaving the little ones in a dangerous situation.

2018-12-13 06:06:16 UTC

anything I can find about the father seems pretty vague, not a lot of details

2018-12-13 06:08:28 UTC

still struggling to find info on the one boy who survived

2018-12-13 06:09:01 UTC

Poor kids man

2018-12-13 06:09:21 UTC

It's just mind blowing that anyone could let this happen to their kids.

2018-12-13 06:10:48 UTC

I don't care if she was manipulated or mentally unstable, that kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, if she wasnt able to see how what she was doing was wrong, then she should face the consequences

2018-12-13 06:11:24 UTC

I agree. Honestly I don't see why anyone involved should have ever seen daylight again.

2018-12-13 06:12:23 UTC

I still can't find any info on the surviving son.

2018-12-13 06:12:59 UTC

Perhaps they are keeping him away from the public / media

2018-12-13 06:13:15 UTC

I can't imagine what that trauma did to him.

2018-12-13 06:15:23 UTC

possible, but thats a little bit of my concern, that kind of ordeal can mess with someone in ways that are difficult to predict, not to mention already having a history of mental illness in the family

2018-12-13 06:16:21 UTC

I just hope he is able to recover as best he can and it doesn't turn him in to a monster

2018-12-13 06:16:57 UTC

They said the two sisters are out already right ?

2018-12-13 06:17:04 UTC

They completed their sentences ?

2018-12-13 06:19:29 UTC

I guess, I did find one footnote that the father of the boys did try to get them back at some point, yet again the details are too damn vague.

2018-12-13 06:19:53 UTC

doesnt say if he ever got custody or not.

2018-12-13 06:29:48 UTC

Finally found details on the boys, apparently one of them dying isn't true and they are both grown and well adjusted young men despite everything they where forced though, this gives me a bit of peace of mind xD

2018-12-13 06:30:21 UTC

One journalist searched for the boys and claims despite of trauma they went through, today they are self-confident young men. Here is FB status written by Ondrej recently:

“If you get hurt by someone who took the benefit from you with high hopes, learn to respect him and take him as the biggest teacher of yours, because if your life is going smoothly you become a delicate person, if on the other hand you experience tragic circumstances, you develop inner power and courage to face them”.

2018-12-13 06:33:43 UTC

That's great that they both survived.

2018-12-13 06:33:53 UTC

I hope the podcast does a correction

2018-12-13 06:35:31 UTC

you can bring it up with them, just to add a little correction in the description, I didn't have the best look at it though so I wouldn't know

2018-12-13 06:38:45 UTC

it is a pretty horrific story so a little amendment to help with peace of mind could be nice.

2018-12-13 06:40:27 UTC

Definitely. I feel much better now that I know they survived.

2018-12-13 06:42:49 UTC

Do you have a link to the Info about them both surviving?

2018-12-13 06:45:25 UTC

I found it on a reddit article about the case in r/unsolvedmysteries

2018-12-13 06:46:07 UTC

you can probably see if the author is still around and ask him for his sources on it since I know its not the best
