I was going to type that just now

2019-01-12 22:40:01 UTC

From each...

2019-01-12 22:40:03 UTC

But

2019-01-12 22:40:39 UTC

If there is no incentive to get rich, people don't work harder

2019-01-12 22:40:50 UTC

They'll fall into the trap of mediocrity

2019-01-12 22:41:03 UTC

The world's progress would stall

2019-01-12 22:41:23 UTC

well the basis would be that the ones who work harder have better life conditions than the ones who don't

2019-01-12 22:41:47 UTC

But isn't it incompatible with their idea of equality

2019-01-12 22:41:49 UTC

With more automation it can certainly be possible. As in star trek, the goal becomes to better yourself, not an endless accumulation of things

2019-01-12 22:42:18 UTC

Communism has, so far, been a tool of political ponerology (government of manipulators) it’s a means of control...it poses as being “for the worker”, but it’s the opposite, it enslaved the worker to work for the government.

2019-01-12 22:42:48 UTC

@S8N my main problem with communism is something else.

2019-01-12 22:43:04 UTC
2019-01-12 22:43:51 UTC

It's probably like 'no true communist' but the examples in the modern world don't have to be that way

2019-01-12 22:43:52 UTC

Communists will tell you that authoritarianism is temporary evil before attaining statelessness

2019-01-12 22:45:23 UTC

But in reality, the stateless classless society will never happen and it's a trap to make common people to voluntarily give them power.

2019-01-12 22:45:37 UTC

Golden bait

2019-01-12 22:47:55 UTC

Plus, consider how communism and feminism are aligned/intertwined...that’s telling in itself

2019-01-12 22:48:50 UTC

@S8N If we remove money from the equation of society. We are making a more unequal world.

Think of it...

Money is a great leveler, if a man doesn't have the looks or height, he could compensate it with money.

If you remove money, that leveler will be lost. People will be judged more on his height and his appearance

2019-01-12 22:49:25 UTC

Let me explain this in the case study of India.

2019-01-12 22:49:48 UTC

There is a system called caste

2019-01-12 22:49:54 UTC

oh god i'll tell him that and he'll just call me an incel

2019-01-12 22:50:15 UTC

Which is an inequality based on birth

2019-01-12 22:50:28 UTC

There are low castes and high castes

2019-01-12 22:50:42 UTC

Low castes are considered untouchable

2019-01-12 22:51:11 UTC

But money reigns Supreme in a capitalist ic society

2019-01-12 22:51:57 UTC

So the low caste people who made money got considerable power and respect

2019-01-12 22:52:07 UTC

And ceased to be untouchables

2019-01-12 22:52:38 UTC

If money was out of the equation, think of it

2019-01-12 22:52:39 UTC

by the way, what's your takes on this?

computer jobs are currently very sought for. but, in around 3-4 years, most kids (who already are aiming for said job) will take that job, and thus lower the demand for it, thus lowering pay significantly.

Is it a sound job and I'm being paranoid or is it a possibility?

2019-01-12 22:53:42 UTC

You know, the demand would only increase

2019-01-12 22:54:29 UTC

When computer was becoming mainstream there was a lot of pushback against it from trade unions and such that they'll decrease jobs

2019-01-12 22:54:58 UTC

i'm talking about general jobs like technicians and programmers. things that currently exist now and are in very high demand

2019-01-12 22:55:02 UTC

But as technology progressed computers itself made new job prospects

2019-01-12 22:55:39 UTC

Even if automation takes many jobs, other avenues in tech would open

2019-01-12 22:55:53 UTC

Blockchain, quantum

2019-01-12 22:56:08 UTC

It'll go on

2019-01-12 22:56:23 UTC

Technology won't end to automation

2019-01-12 22:56:50 UTC

New innovations are necessary and that needs humans

2019-01-12 22:57:35 UTC

A very interesting take on that. Thank you

2019-01-12 22:57:58 UTC

So you're saying that, technically, computer jobs like programming, etc. will always be in high demand due to technological advances

2019-01-12 22:58:09 UTC

Yes
