Is it actually correct that r/mensrights has more subs then r/feminism?
I think so, but I don't think r/feminism is the main sub, it's mainly trollxchromosones ish
The amount of man-hatred in trollx is disgusting honestly.
nearing twice as many
That’s what I saw but I thought I was looking at something wrong or something
That actually seems crazy to me.
I think they're split between several subs though which baffles me
you'd think you'd want people who agree with you to be in the same place?
They are disorganized everyone is feminism and no one is feminism at He same time.
They don’t agree that’s their issue
It’s just “women want to be equal (in whatever we deem right at that moment, and however we feel like doing it)”
They are unorganized
We just have to take are small victories.
This is true
I've heard /r/menslib hates /r/mensrights but I haven't gone to menslib and as such don't know what the beef is
I like to think of myself as an egalitarian, I know women have had issues in the past, and even still do today, but they aren’t serious hard pressing issues and they worry about non existent ones I like many people can’t take them seriously
And when they bash people I hate it.
I just want equality unfortunately that’s not what femism is pushing for anymore, so I can’t side with them, and right now we need to talk about men’s issues, it is long overdue.
Yep
And just the general hate
At some point it stopped being a movement for rights and started becoming an echo chamber for hate.
And that was quite a while ago
My favorite thing is when you ask a feminist "What right do men have that women don't have?" they say something along the lines of "I'm afraid to walk alone at night!"
Okay...
And your point is?
Like are you implying I’m not?
It’s just stupid arguments
That's not a right either
No one should feel comfortable walking alone at night honestly, it sounds like a recipe for disaster even for a man
Or when you bring up men’s issues and they say “we are working on that but it’s the patriarchy and toxic masculinity that causes that, you can’t blame us, we didn’t make the laws.”
It’s just like “My issue your fault, your problem”
“Your issue, your fault, your problem.”
Pretty much, I think I've seen one feminist, ever, argue against circumcision and it blew my mind a bit
I’ve seen one feminist not hate men’s rights
She blew it right after when she started talking about how if a male gets raped and talks about then they are taking away from the “real” issue, but that’s another beef for another time.
As far as I know, women who actually report their rapes almost never watch their rapist go free
Men who report their rapes however....
Funnily enough it seems like feminism is actually about taking away agency and responsibility for women, almost every change they clamor for is effectively something that will make women no longer have to be responsible people
If you're afraid to walk alone at night that's good. That's being responsible for your own safety
