its a gathering of individuals with political goals/agendas
Mm... Possibly. I guess what I meant to say is more along the lines of being a political party, since seats on the EP was mentioned
oh yeah, definitely not a party
Despite what we hear all the time, a bunch of rebellious and disorganised dudes in the streets won't do much
If the people want things to change, they should do it in an orderly way and prove the superiority of their position.
I think this has to do with the way our society glorifies going against authority, along with the french tradition of calling strikes for anything and everything.
Well they're submitting a list of MPs
Hm. I don't think I know enough to comment any further, then
We don't hear too much about them anyway nowadays
No matter how many men you put into a street for whatever reason, the media will portray it as another Charlottesville scenario.
"Here we have a gathering of blood thirsty KKK neo-nazi mysognists that want a wall..."
Even if there are signs that say what we want. Even if everyone wants the same thing and its to end circumcision or something, we will be portrayed as white supremacist neo nazis kkk members.
I saw this and was like, 'hmm... might be an interesting whiny article...' Nope... direct link to a facebook comment section where everyone is being sane and non-feministly ripping a lady a new one... πππππππ
ok, not 'everyone'... but the ones that I was seeing, hate FB not showing everything
I can't even get any of the comments to load without an account
Is Amy the mother? She replying to all of the comments
One of the workers from the water park replied too
Eh, so what are those who don't have an account (like me) missing here
From the face of the initial post, it does seem ridiculous to kick people out and shame a six year old
Most people seem to be calling out the parents for letting a little girl run around topless
But besides that, the business (waterpark) asked them to comply with the rules and they didn't.
And I dont think it qualifies as body shaming. They were making fun of the child for having an abnormal body. They just told her to out her top on.
It depends what they said really, and idk what they said which was why I was asking
If a water park had a rule that all men have to wear tops, and I refused to wear mine, they would have every right to kick me out.
It doesn't specify what they said. Only that the girl wanted to take her top off because it was digging in to her skin. Her dad said yes. The employees spotted her and told her to put her top back on. She went to.her parents crying.
That is kinda important though what they said, which is why I ask what those who cant see the comments are missing, because it says in what's linked that she was shamed
Do you want me to screenshot it for you?
whats wrong with a six year old girl being topless? I'm confused
Nothing in general but a business can make and enforce rules prohibiting it
As far as the law goes, an establishment can ask anyone to leave and do not need to give a reason.
This is only countered if the place is doing so for specifically bigoted reasons.
Hi Kox, welcome to the discord
Hello, thank you.
Did you come from r/mensrights?
Yes i did. i just lurk on the sub though.
Nothing wrong with that. Feel free to look around and post about things you might wanna talk about, check <#528170740814708736> to be safe :3
Cool, i will thanks. Actually decided to look for a discord because i'm talking with this person online, started out great but now the topic keeps returning to "men = bad" so i wanted a place to talk about this stuff as it's starting to bug me quite a bit.
Feel you!
this is a depressingly common reason for seeking out Men's Rights
