Becoming a Muslim is a very emotional time. All the religious fervour you can imagine and none of the good sense that learning about the religion gives. Kuffar learn from media that muslims kill everyone that ridicules Islam and he probably thought that it was what he was supposed to do. Not saying what he did was wrong. But I did not know a lot about Islam when I became Muslim. I knew there was one God, Muhammad was his messenger, the Quran is the word of God, angels and djinn exist and judgement day will come. Everything else was mostly media stereotypes. I was a bit afraid when I went to the masjid to convert because I thought muslims might not want a kaffir in the masjid. Had no idea, didn't know any practicing Muslim.

I decided to convert after bringing another girl home to have sex with. I always rejected them after the first night because I did not trust any women. Everyone practice adultery and I was thinking 'better I hurt them first before they hurt me'. But I was disgusted with myself. I had recently read in the Bible (Gospel of Matthew 26:39, you should read the verse) where Jesus falls on the ground with his face like a Muslim when he prays to God and say "do what you want, God. Don't do what I want". Christians believe Jesus is God so they believe he says "Don't do what I want, but do what I want" and when the contradiction is pointed out they say it is a mystery. But I just think the Muslim idea made more sense. But as soon as I had thrown the girl out I tried to find a mosque. Because it was Friday and I knew Muslims prayed Friday prayer so I went early in the morning. But the mosque was closed. But I saw a woman in hijab walking with her husband and they found a masjid for me that was open and I stayed there until jummah and I said the shahada after jummah.

And about the girls you had sex with as a brother in Islam I should tell you in Islam you shouldn't tell others of your past sins there are hadiths about it where the prophet tells not to rip the veil which Allah has placed over your past sins wait I'll try to find it if i can

@kaizervonmaanen Devon had been Muslim for about a solid year before he (allegedly) killed anyone. The dead people regularly ridiculed him and the religion, and would make fun of Syrian children being killed. I don't want to say too much information about the event since he's still going under trial, but what Devon (allegedly) did isn't a case of 'some new muslim buying the fox news narrative of what he's supposed to do' and in fact is bigger than just killing some guys who made fun of him.
@...new well, if they ridiculed the religion then it (allegedly) is obviously not morally wrong of course. I don't know the guy or what happened. Just mentioning a theory because I bought some of the narrative myself. On the surface it looks like a honorable act and I didn't intend to make the brother look bad or anything like that. The world is better off without blasphemers. Shame he got caught, but he will get justice on judgement day.
