but in Finland, its the other way around. the centre and the ultra-right has been gaining ground almost with no input from the left. the old left, the kind of left I think is *actual left,* has evaporated from what once was a pretty eminent place in Finnish politics. SKDL/FDPL was one of the largest communist alliances outside Soviet bloc in Europe, which was a force in government pretty much nonstop 1945-1991 and now its totally gone

this was my point from earlier though, I genuinely don't thnk socialism can be revived anymore, same for fascism, you only have liberal forms of it

even Sweden doesn't do that

yeah the problem with the leftoids is that they call everything fascism, I've been called a fascist, my comrades have been called fascist, etc. however, there is some truth to their analysis of fascism and how it relates to the rest of the right, its simply that they take far too accusatory a line when it comes to identifying these in social relations

You say that, but I think that there's just been a general lull in socialist movements, in large part due to the dissolution of USSR. this was a huge event for the world socialist movement, something that sent us in a downwards spiral. But, we can make a comeback - in some sense, Bolivarian Revolution which itself took place years after the USSR's dissolution, showed us the way - despite all the failures
