The problem with journalist selection is that in the modern world every youtuber can be counted as one. So it would be very difficult to vet it. Regardless I would answer yes if 1. it has a sufficiently big calliber of social impact and/or there was money involved.
agricultural socialism, with a rake and sickle sounds like an-prim-soc
anyway with the qotd I think there should be overwhelming evidence that they deliberately mislead the public then yes but if there is any doubts than they should have to retract their story but not be fired
If the social impact is big enough I would be fine with his loosing job just for not vetting the info.
sure
thats different
welp then we agree
thats one job vs "loss of their right to work in that field by law"
idk id just demote them to an intern or some shit or make them cover something stupid untill they got their shit together
there is tons of bitch work in journalism
well then we don't I guess.
but I would say it depends on the caliber of the issue.
yeah if someone dies because they misidentified someone then yes
but any issue that is worth a journalist to loose a job is preety much worth of a legal court varrant.
yeah
we most likely do disagree on what is counted a "big calliber issue" tho...
why
Because you are a classic liberal so we look at it from a different perspective.
