>You see labour as an obstacle, I see it as a necessity

cringe!!!

@Bird Wizard 1) not reductionism, man quite literally is the summation of his needs and his desires to a very, very large extent

2) so you agree with my point, that material realities are not changed by thoughts alone

3) man did enter to social relationships at the dawn of human beings for specifically this reason

4) not sure how that constitutes an argument

"Reductionism" the amazing essay by birb wizard

2018-12-18 12:11:34 UTC

> You see labor as an obstacle I see it as a necessity.

literally said it is the most purest form of man's existence

2018-12-18 12:11:40 UTC

wtf

2018-12-18 12:11:46 UTC

he thinks communism is when you get free stuff

2018-12-18 12:11:48 UTC

unironically

2018-12-18 12:11:52 UTC

oh ffs

2018-12-18 12:12:18 UTC

>free stuff

2018-12-18 12:12:24 UTC

there's never an incentive to improve the quality

2018-12-18 12:12:42 UTC

only the most basic survive mentality

2018-12-18 12:12:56 UTC

the main mode of communist spirituality is *active,* or *creative* one. Where man comes together with man to produce, to create things, for the betterment of all people. It is very socially meaningful, individually and praxiologically meaningful view on human beings. Not sure what the passive masturbation on "muh nation" has to compete with that

2018-12-18 12:13:13 UTC

i mean it's true that Communism would not be able to achieve the evolution that capitalism has achieved

2018-12-18 12:13:17 UTC

You know that there are more incentives than just a money based incentive right ?

2018-12-18 12:13:24 UTC

money is up there tho

2018-12-18 12:13:28 UTC

I know

2018-12-18 12:13:40 UTC

But it isn't the only incentive

2018-12-18 12:13:53 UTC

Communism emerges from capitalism, so of course it can't do the things that the previous mode of economic production achieved. Anymore than it makes sense for capitalism to be doing the things feudalism did.

2018-12-18 12:14:24 UTC

Sometimes cappies dabble in that feudal shit tho 😄

it's ultimately defining a man based on his needs and wants, you saying that "there's all there is to a man by a large extent" doesn't make it true.
It never answers the question of why people restrict themselves from their own base desires

2018-12-18 12:14:51 UTC

never was talking only about base desires wtf

2018-12-18 12:14:58 UTC

wants and needs

2018-12-18 12:14:59 UTC

desires *in general*

2018-12-18 12:15:02 UTC

both high and low

2018-12-18 12:15:04 UTC

pretty much qualifies

2018-12-18 12:15:16 UTC

Oh yeah epic spirituality there, no desires allowed

2018-12-18 12:15:17 UTC

kek

2018-12-18 12:15:21 UTC

Bird shut up you're making an ass of yourself and it isn't funny anymore @Bird Wizard

The nation provides you with a singular ethnos, the group will have more or less internally consistent impulses and direct familial ties.
It provides a singular culture, consistent practices and moores for the people to operate on.
It provides a singular faith, the 1st principle on which to work on and it's connection to the divine, meshes along with culture.

2018-12-18 12:15:45 UTC

but there were many ethnos before the nation was created

2018-12-18 12:15:49 UTC

and many cultures

2018-12-18 12:15:51 UTC

and many faiths
