there are some yes, you might find my latest share on <#507036888205623296> interesting, it pertains to Brezhnev era USSR's political economy but it might be a decent enough place to start. I also have shared the Fundamentals of Marxism-Leninism here before which has a very, very broad scope of issues that it discusses and explains about the Soviet system and the thinking behind it (although this is from Khrushchevite era perspective)
