Jews don't control much of anything in America, at most they have considerable influence over the *political establishment* - party funding, various lobbying groups that influence foreign policy, etc. etc. And this is really the goal, goal stemming from the foreign policy interests of the state of Israel, but the rest of the American society is - except for media which is quite unimportant factor in the grand scheme of things - relatively "non-Jewish"
