Biotech is one of the most rapidly growing fields of science today - its capital value is increasing four-fould every six months. This is immense potential that I think will very plainly lead to the kind of technologies we are discussing, particularly because there's *tremendous demand for such technologies to exist* - on the part of governments, capital owners, investors, etc. etc. It will be done, and the number of studies put out worldwide that give new details of the functioning and emergence of intelligence in humans is tremendous, mind-boggling, and increases at - not exponential - but considerable rate.
