I'm observing that the state of the communist movement is broken. Maybe you are a 5 year old (mentally or otherwise) and your conception of "team work" is to praise your team and ignore all of its failures and weaknesses. But in my view the greatest service you can do is to viciously attack your team's shortcomings and weaknesses in order to push them to the right direction.

Of course a good communist is viciously critical of the state of the communist movement today. Its a joke. Lots of work needs to be performed, and we can't ever win if we don't do a total 180 and real fucking soon.

many dissident socialists and Marxists in Venezuela are also openly attacking Maduro and saying that, under his administration, the country is sliding towards Fascism and any progress towards Socialism is being stagnated. Like the notion that Venezuela is socialist is fucking ridiculous.

The economy is not planned like it was in USSR. There is no network of councils/soviets, official and workers' alike, that regulate and execute production directives. The tropes of socialism are not present in Venezuela, I don't know where the notion that its a socialist economy comes from.

the thing is that in 2014 this huge protests started and the politicians in the coalition of MUD (Democratic Table Bureau) that convoked them, so people were participating, they started like at 8am

and then the hours passed, the tear gass, etc you know typical

then it's 2pm and this politicians says "Everybody go home and protests from your houses at 8pm"

socialism isn't some vague fucking concept revolving around "muh welfare state", "muh social programs" or this and that common talking point. its not *kinda public-regulated economy,* its a *total and complete worker ownership and direction of the economy, either directly or via elected mediators,* and exists ***in the absence of the capitalist class and capitalist property relation***

Venezuela is not socialist. Its not. Its at best a mixed economy.
