Welcome!
Yaaaas
Are you Celtic
Minimum wage should stay as low as possible.
The higher the minimum wage the more inflation. Companies have to pay for the wage increase through price increase on consumer goods.
For example in a some states ik the minimum wage is $7. Good, low, helps the economy.
2 years ago I was working at mcdonalds and my government raised minimum wage from 10.60 to 12.65/h. This raised the prices at the mcdonalds I had worked at by quite a bit. Meals went from 8.99 plus tax to about 10 plus tax.
A truly civilized country doesn't need to have a minumum wage because organisations from civil society/unions and employers will agree on an industry standard for different types of work
Thats definitely preferred.
As you said. I’m for free market.
Holy shit
Trudeau is being booed out of almost every public event he does
Oh yeah he was.
We need to keep minimum wages as low as possible in order to keep consumer prices down, and in order to provide more jobs.

The less people have to spend on workers the more they’ll hire. If it costs $12 an hour to hire a worker you’re sure as hell not gonna hire as many as if it costed $9.
No, that employers hire more people if they have to pay their current staff less is not logically connected. It's possible, sure, but it is wishful thinking
By logically connected I mean that it does not follow with absoulte certainty
It’s accurate thinking, i’d refrain from fully hiring alot of workers if it costed more unless I inflated prices to afford them.
Trudeau doesn’t understand that
Minimum wage is 15$ now
