An F-35B crashed earlier in a presumably Class A incident, however the pilot is alright and is currently being evaluated and treated for injuries. It's not known as to why the aircraft crashed at all as of yet.
The aircraft and pilot are presumably assigned to a training unit that operates out MCAS Beaufort in South Carolina, though nothing's confirmed. Sounds like it may have been a training incident.
