Remember don't die like a bitch to a .40 high point
I go on combined OPs with feds
and they are wearing t shirts with plate carriers
You could literally wear animetiddy t-shirt with a vest over it
and nobody would give a fuck
haha
but that's how DEA types are shown alot
if they're not shown in full kit
that's when you're on a team
if u are a lone agent working a case
you wear whatever the fuck you want
as long as u don't have shorts on nobody will care
grass is always greener
IMHO at least
do they go through an academy like the FBI?
all LEO do
don't trip man, I'm no boomer I won't lie to you
lol
but ATF/DEA is a god tier job
forgive me if I'm skeptical
what do I know I'm just a genX fucker
lol
I'm just not sure why they are so awesome
I don't work in a LEO job
any job you can get where you carry a gun and go around doing whatever the fuck you want all day
great
fair enough
Just carrying a gun on your hip does not equal job satisfaction
Unless you get off on the projection of power. In which case being a cop is perfect for you.
Fact: if you have a hero complex being a cop isn't the job for you
Seriously cops with hero complexs are the worst cops and they actively try and cull them out at the academy
Have a relative who’s a cop and he’s the most pragmatic and practical dude I know, and so are all the other cop friends he has that I’ve met. No hotshots.
He just picked up an actual murder suspect and watched him confess when they brought him in.
The guy murdered a young girl that everyone was looking for.
I’ve known half a dozen cops, including one who was an.. assistant chief? Like second in command.
The sad reality is that most people are cops for the adrenaline rush.
And when they’ve been doing the job for a while and the rush of a traffic stop no longer does it, they move onto other jobs like SWAT, etc.
It isn’t a job that attracts good people. It is a job that attracts people that are either looking for that rush, or have something to prove. And then people who don’t fall into that mentality are edged out.
There are some good cops, sure. But those are the exception, not the rule.
In any case, might we move onto a discussion of finance?
I've seen something in the price of certain stocks I'm slightly confused about.
