is there a way to accept donations in the form of credit cards etc that are converted and sent to me as bitcoin?

2018-04-11 00:06:23 UTC

@Dustin Nemos This problem is not solvable unless you want to place yourself at great personal risk. The trouble is that bitcoin transfers are inherently non-reversible, meaning that once you've transfered bitcoins there is absolutely nothing you can do to guarantee the return of those bitcoins. Credit cards however are highly reversible and most banks reserve the right to take back funds with very little justification and will almost always side with their customers. https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/11856/accept-credit-card-online-to-bitcoin-address-backend

^^^ not my work. Credit to author above.

most are having difficulty figuring out how to get into crypto in order to donate to me that way

2018-04-11 00:19:27 UTC

i've only had like 2 btc donations ever

2018-04-11 00:19:38 UTC

most of my viewership are older and not tech savvy (nor am I, really)

2018-04-11 00:19:44 UTC

unless its a Videogame

2018-04-11 00:19:48 UTC

then I'm decent

2018-04-11 00:23:32 UTC

You can set up a wkly xfer from a bank account into your bit exchange?

2018-04-11 01:58:40 UTC

That sounds complicated perhaps

2018-04-11 01:59:14 UTC

I think the biggest deciding factor is how convenient it is. If there was a 1button way to do it, I'd probably be making a decent living off journalism

2018-04-11 01:59:26 UTC

which isn't the goal, but it helps to pay the bills

2018-04-11 01:59:41 UTC

Otherwise I get wife agro

2018-04-11 02:09:15 UTC

hi

2018-04-15 00:45:26 UTC

anybody kept track of the crypto coins Cliff High & JSnip4 recommends?

2018-04-15 15:25:15 UTC

Love it @Watershed#0896

Ico I recently invested in

Currently less than 1c

2018-04-26 03:32:56 UTC

i don't think babbcoin is decentralized @Malikstotle

2018-04-26 03:33:05 UTC

At least not seeing anything to suggest it

2018-04-26 03:47:47 UTC

i tend to be very wary of undecentralized platforms. They are susceptible to the same corruption that took 99.99% of the dollars value

2018-04-26 03:48:06 UTC

Ripple is Shit. it can be increased just like moneyprinting, for example.

2018-04-26 03:48:10 UTC

I've looked into buying EOS but got a message saying it was not available in my region, anyone know away around this?

2018-05-04 01:11:42 UTC

Use a VPN

2018-05-04 01:11:58 UTC

Or a exchange that does not require proof of identification

2018-05-23 06:21:24 UTC

I'm having challenges with sifting through the options of purchasing crypto. Do any of you have recommendations on who to go through for sales of BTC, Ethirium, Lite coin, Tron, etc?

2018-05-23 06:22:34 UTC

Unfortunately, unlike buying a car, there are not many people that have experience in the buying portion of this.

2018-05-27 21:29:35 UTC

Use coinbase for now noob
