in Uk, govt introduced policy to have all roads electric by 2040. A unofficial report suggested that to cover the increase in energy requirements, at least 15 new nuclear power stations would need to be built. We've got one being built near me in west england and it's already 10 years late and 3x more expensive. Electric seems a con!
