I wish you knew what life was like in 1972 when all this was so buried that it didn't dominate our thoughts. When we had the liberty of focusing on Tupperware and riding our bikes and treehouse and church youth campouts.. Sigh
That does sound nice, I got to spend my childhood in the 90's when everything started to change.
It went from "be home at dark" to "i want to meet their parent, be home by cetain time" etc
Now I feel guilty if I want to go to the mall and buy a dress because I think I should spend the money on anti radiation cell phone cover instead...I just want to be frivolous again

Also, one of the smaller pills for the folks is the manipulation of the media to control the narrative. The timing is perfect with the release of the Sinclair Group and their control of news outlets from various networks, the videos of anchors from different networks reading the exact same message is very telling.
