Jeremiah actually wrote there were only false prophets in Babylon. Daniel and Ezekiel were both there. Daniel more or less pled guilty to the charge saying we are all guilty of sin.
Daniel 9:4 I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed:
βLord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 5 we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. 6 We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our ancestors, and to all the people of the land.
Ezekiel never responded.
I don't trust any religion, bc all depend on followers aka sheep. Does religion promote truth or obedience?
Agree with you on that one. I am not in any organized religion. All false as I see it.
There is truth within the Bible, but it is not all truth
I agree. Isaiah and Jeremiah are truth. Exodus truth. Though I use mostly only Isaiah and Jeremiah.
Deut 6 truth.
Be careful of translations, too.
I recommend TheCepher
Very careful. The Lord is English for Baal in the Hebrew. Had to learn a lot about Hebrew to know the Old Testament.

Alef and Tav. Yes know of it. I find the NIV most accurate to the Hebrew. Not so good on the Greek.
I just seldom go to the Hebrew and find it wrong, except a few standard Christian passages where they borrow from the New Testament and insert into the old.
Easy enough to remember it is Yehovah not the LORD and Elohim not God.
I usually go with Yahuah
There is a lot to be said for a name
Most people do not realize this
