two years ago we just bought our first house
3 bed 2 bath with pool for 207,000
I'm guessing your property taxes are just as ridiculous?
yup, its impossible, and the reason why...
foreign investment
China owns most of all of that now
its like 50% empty
they used Vancouver real estate as their own piggy banks / stock market
wow
so you live DT or on the outskirts?
one of the mountains is owned by a Chinese corporation... and the rotating restaurant.
i moved a year ago into the province over for work
cheaper living + affordable housing + better wage
makes sense
but when i did live in BC i was lucky enough to be living in our family owned condo, (1br 1 bath) @ 150K... that place has now been priced to 350K and that was 1h commute for me to DT vancouver where i worked
Immigration / foreign investment into real estate - these are the new territory control warfare that no one talks about.... globalism at its finest
there isn't a place in this world that isn't free from corruption and greed
I think my grammar is correct in that sentence... lol
lol no worries if its not
we are all flawed here ❤
Trudeau is probably trying to figure out how to handle his eyebrows.
Oh was that mean...
😂
of all days to forget deodorant I had to pick the day where it's 112 😫
Well thats the joke i was making @creepyAnon
alopecia, cant grow your own hair
Trudeau stole the election. He was down 15% when he won the election. He is definitely a Queen appointed ruler.
I swore when I was 22 I would never live in that kind of heat again. I was way too tired of it in Mesa (near Phoenix) Arizona.

It is my 5th summer here and I'm still not used to the heat. I don't think I'll ever get used to it.
I certainly don't tolerate it very well
I never got used to it. I would spend a good portion of my summers at the river tubing. Doubt that is possible anymore.
People still do the tubing there. I have friends that live in that area.
Oh sorry @Bleezer
We were about 10 or so miles away. I lived there from age 12 to 19 but came back at 22 for a while.
I went to the Airport and it said 124 on the way. That was when I decided I would never live there again.
lol
Don't blame you one bit
two summers ago it got up to 133
