No, she was a fucking dumb bitch
She essentially gave an excusew
And people have thought that for a few hundred years apparently
for the Romans to annex Egypt
and claim it as a province
excuse?
she was a dumb fucking bitch
New Kingdom of Egypt was disastrous
the Persians and then the Greeks mass monopolized on area control there
because quite literally the Moses story
that's a conquest for the region of Canaan over Egypt
The Persians would have not been able to take over, had the Greeks not betrayed us. We hired a bunch of Greek mercenaries, which defected to the Persian side.
Greek is old but it is certainly relevant
Pelusiem was a fucking disasted.
People are like "oh you can't use Greek for anything xdddd"
Ninten,
were you asking why Coptic is considered a dead language? or Greek?
Greek
Not necessarily dead but people think it's irrelevant/outdated
I don't think it is?
Along with Latin
Latin makes sense though
More than Greek
@【IVSTINIANVS】 OK, listened to it. I recognised "Agio", but not much of other words sadly.
I imagine it's another word coming from Agios of Greek origin.
I'm taking French and I plan on taking Latin next
Then eventually Greek
Thanks for sharing, really beautiful thing.
There's also "Basil" which comes from Bassileius I think
Lord/King
I think Latin will help me get situated with Greek
Latin was pretty heavily influenced by Greek.
But the Greek said he understood most of it.
Even terms like Colosseum or Basilica.
Are of Greek origin.
If I can master Coptic, I will have no problem with Greek.
Strange, as for example Roman gods are not copied and have new names.
French would be my transition point from English to Latin
And Latin would be a transition point to Greek
I'm taking French currently
