Why are some of these groups parasitic

2019-01-09 16:23:17 UTC

When I mean usually I mean orthodox Christianity’s patriarchs can change their mind

2019-01-09 16:23:27 UTC

I believe its culture

2019-01-09 16:23:45 UTC

not ethnicity

2019-01-09 16:24:07 UTC

Chechens can be pretty reasonable too compared to Arabs

2019-01-09 16:24:42 UTC

the harsh environment and lifestyle I believ leads to overrepresentation in the Taliban, ISIS, etc

2019-01-09 16:24:57 UTC

similar to Pashtuns

2019-01-09 16:25:17 UTC

and Kashmiris

2019-01-09 16:25:28 UTC

ahahahahahha Based
Virgin Church with one Head (Pope) and universal doctrine and dogma
VS.
Chad "Church" with differently opinionated patriarchs and non-universal doctrine

@Deleted User How did the USSR and Russia historically treat Caucaus peoples?

2019-01-09 16:27:09 UTC

Do you think a Slavic Union would be better than retaining South Russia?

2019-01-09 16:27:18 UTC

ie Caucaus

2019-01-09 16:27:31 UTC

or Eurasia is a best option?

2019-01-09 16:31:42 UTC

@Deleted User well the Bolsheviks did massacre 2 million people in Caucasus

2019-01-09 16:32:00 UTC

Many Russians are of Caucasus decent

2019-01-09 16:32:08 UTC

Read up on the kurgan theory

2019-01-09 16:32:34 UTC

@Nicholas there are different sects of Catholicism

2019-01-09 16:37:28 UTC

>there are different sects of Catholicism
What do you mean?
To be considered a Catholic, you need to accept Catholic dogma which is universal.
If you mean different liturgical rites, Orthodoxy also has different rites.
But all liturgical rites of the Catholic Church follow the same doctrine and dogma.

2019-01-09 16:41:02 UTC

If you're a modern Catholic you reject that dogma

2019-01-09 16:41:19 UTC

Only Sedevacantists follow it because Vatican II is illegitimate

2019-01-09 16:41:56 UTC

Well, I am a Sedevacantist
And yes Novus Ordites are not real Catholics

2019-01-09 16:42:11 UTC

Like sects Catholicism which does not agree with each other

2019-01-09 16:42:19 UTC

Example?

2019-01-09 16:43:23 UTC

If someone denies Catholic dogma, he's not Catholic...plain and simple

2019-01-09 16:44:45 UTC

I know someone who is Novus Ordo and thinks he's still trad

2019-01-09 16:45:08 UTC

😔

2019-01-09 16:49:29 UTC

Like there are sects of Catholicism who disagree with popes

2019-01-09 16:51:57 UTC

First of all, Sede is vacant and it has been that way since Vatican II
Second, not everything pope does or says is infallible.
He is infallible when, in the exercise of his office as shepherd and teacher of all Christians, in virtue of his supreme apostolic authority, he defines a doctrine concerning faith or morals to be held by the whole Church.

2019-01-09 16:52:57 UTC

>everything the pope does or say is infallible

2019-01-09 16:53:07 UTC

Kill me

2019-01-09 16:53:18 UTC

NOT everything

2019-01-09 16:53:24 UTC

Exactly

2019-01-09 16:53:36 UTC

Sorry

2019-01-09 16:53:41 UTC

I am dyslexic

2019-01-09 16:53:52 UTC

And it’s sort of the same with orthodoxy

2019-01-09 16:54:24 UTC

Yes, but Canonizations are considered infallible in Catholicism.

2019-01-09 16:59:46 UTC

Yeah but palamas is not canon

2019-01-09 17:00:45 UTC

But he is a Saint?

2019-01-09 17:02:34 UTC

But that doesn’t mean that his ideas were canon

2019-01-09 17:02:51 UTC

It means that he was a holy man

2019-01-09 17:02:55 UTC

A very holy man
