Reminded me for some reason of the meteoric impact in the Gulf of Mexico at/around the formation of the current Yucatan Peninsula. The interesting thing about the Tierra Del Fuego/ Antartic graphic... is the coastal shelf line is/has been formed/slid to just shy of a 90 degree angle (difficult for natural terrestrial tectonic movements to form straight lines) ... reminding me of impact slides on the moon surface.
