Basically, satellites sent out a frequency to go and map shit, basically what ever the frequency bounces off of gets mapped. I’m sure that the frequency simply reached a point where it could no longer be reached. You can go look up images, it just doesn’t look right.
@T-34 Waifu well dimorphism is still a poorly understood field for some animal species in which a smaller animal species without context can mature into another taking upon the physicality of traits that make it hard to discern from one another
There was some confusion over triceratops bones and a smaller presumed relative, until it was determined the 'relative' was just a juvenile
There were also times we fucked up dinosaur bone reconstructions pretty bad
