She could have easily passed as Hispanic if she was here, tbh

2019-12-26 09:15:04 UTC

Mossad prob got her, because she's not a Jew.

2019-12-26 09:36:46 UTC

2019-12-26 09:36:52 UTC

white, hispanic, or asian pls.

2019-12-26 13:49:39 UTC

been doing almost slave labor for the entire month, same stuff almost every single night

2019-12-26 13:50:09 UTC

we're in catering seasoning and party season, so there's been multiple, massive events with 300+ people

2019-12-26 13:51:49 UTC

there's only 3 dishwashers on the clock at a time, and I got moved to the latest shift (per request to my boss, who is really cool), so I'm responsible for making sure everything is finished, clean and put away

2019-12-26 13:55:26 UTC

my asshole coworker (the 19 year old) has been on the verge of having a panic attack to the point of physically shaking, getting dizzy spells, not being able to eat, and he's not been able to work efficiently because of it
Me and J (my other coworker who is a major pothead, but he's really cool and a super hard worker, he makes sure to do as much as he possibly can before he leaves every night) noticed that 19y/o has been slacking and acting really aloof, started complaining to our supervisor because 19y/o will fill up the big pot sink, put 1-2 things in it, scrape some stuff off, take them out of the sink and then drain and refill the sink

2019-12-26 13:56:17 UTC

Big pot sink?

2019-12-26 13:56:55 UTC

It's basically like a 5ftx3ftx3ft deep giant bathtub-like sink that we use to hand-wash large pots, pans, etc.

2019-12-26 13:57:12 UTC

We have a dish machine and the pot sink

2019-12-26 13:57:49 UTC

Ohhh, neat.

2019-12-26 13:57:51 UTC

It takes like 10 minutes to refill the sink with the taps on full blast

2019-12-26 13:58:06 UTC

It's like a 100+ gallon sink, it's huge

2019-12-26 13:59:19 UTC

anyways, I was getting really frustrated because 19y/o kept leaving me with giant piles of stuff to wash in addition to all the other things I have to wash (plates, silverware, tools, utensils, mandatory items the cooks and the restaurant needs to function)

2019-12-26 14:00:46 UTC

Have you brought this up with your supervisor as well?

2019-12-26 14:00:58 UTC

^

2019-12-26 14:02:13 UTC

Yeah, both J and I did

2019-12-26 14:02:23 UTC

There's nothing they can do about it because it's a mental issue

2019-12-26 14:02:32 UTC

man, i do not envy you guys during the holidays

2019-12-26 14:02:51 UTC

my list of holiday worries is so small as a tech

2019-12-26 14:03:06 UTC

except them embezzlement niggas

2019-12-26 14:03:12 UTC

we actually caught one this year

2019-12-26 14:03:53 UTC

every fucking night for the entire MONTH it's like this, stuff piled to the point it's coming out of the sink

2019-12-26 14:05:52 UTC

I didn't take a picture of the ***4 carts of catering dishware I had to wash and put away***

2019-12-26 14:05:57 UTC

I was a dishwasher for a few months and it was nowhere near that scale and still really hard work. Fuck that's so bad

2019-12-26 14:06:12 UTC

and the*** 200lbs of silverware***

2019-12-26 14:06:23 UTC

that's a gigaboof

2019-12-26 14:06:35 UTC

*I would like to vacate the dish pit*

2019-12-26 14:06:41 UTC

oh man

2019-12-26 14:07:01 UTC

they have trouble keeping people working in the kitchen because they start everyone in the dishpit

2019-12-26 14:07:30 UTC

Including the cooks, yeah? That what you mean,?

2019-12-26 14:07:44 UTC

Yeah, most of the cooks started out as dishwashers one way or another

2019-12-26 14:08:16 UTC

Lol, same with the old place I worked at. Must be a tradition.
