The real question is: How do you say it syllable-by-syllable?
"Br-ze-cy-zs-csz-...."
learning polish in a year because going there
because family
hm
No one can pronounce my middle name
Kacheni
learn a months worth of polish and go it over with polish relatives and you pronounce half the shit wrong
When you're trying hard
Not even a pole I bet
It’s too Serbian
Me.... Well, people manage alright, I guess.
@Le Frenchman is your last name fromage de poutine?
It's writting it that they oftebn get it wrong, forgetting their writting rules
@Deleted User No, it's a Catalan family name
I've had two people in my entire life get the name right the first time
Two
And im not even sure on the second one.
Most people on my family can probounce it but that’s cause it’s my great grandpas name
Most people dont even try, and they either get it wrong, andor ask for pronunciation, and get it wrong the first 2 or 3 times
Ive had people ask me
Is it french?
Is it German?
LOL
Is it Swedish?
Is it Russian?
Someone thought it was gaelic
kek
Some teachers would make an adaptation (Like instead of calling someone Kochran, they'd call them Coffee or Rasberry instead of Rajeesh) and the nickname pronunciation of my last name became the name i was known as
Cause it was infamous for confusing teachers and them getting it wrong most of the semester even though they kept trying.
wow. That's pretty pathetic
If you knew the nickname and asked my graduating class, they'd know, but if you accually asked them about my real name
they wouldnt know
heh
About the Polish tongue-twister thing
Yep. Good luck trying to tell someone about a polish city or town over the phone
its like Sweden or Norway but less pronouncable to the English-speaking normie
Makes it hard when you gotta do international money transfers
