Where my Sata nigga at, I am supposed to make him some new grips
That’s also me. Ended up taking a saw to it again. Got a good cut with minimal hiccups. Filing and sanding are next.
Real shit harbor freight tap and a drill
Eh. I’d rather sand. Gives me more control. Almost finished anyway.
When you go for the new bead
Eventually.
Like I said, plenty of fiber beads that stick on with double stick tape. No need to tap. I’ve had one that’s going on 3 years of hard competition use.
JB weld
I think I’ll just go with the tape like moonrunes said.
Just make sure you clean the rib with alcohol before you apply the sight
Alright.
Ooh purty
Thanks.
@Deleted User you were wanting to talk grips?
Yeah, if you still need new grips
I do. Still broke atm tho.
When I get a bit more cash, I’ll see what we can do. I’d feel bad not paying you.
My srd-9 sits above the sights on my p226 wtf do i do for sights
what
Or.. use the red dot for sighting?
Entirely his choice, just giving him both options
you can always just disregard irons fully if you want
I just couldnt find any through sig but maybe im being too picky, i line to CC this gun so im not super sure about a red dot and i dislike electronics
Do i need calipers to put my sights back on? I don't have any experience in replacing irons
Get a sight alignment tool
Also ccing with an rds isnt that bad just replace your batteries regularly and mark on your calendar when you replaced them
^
You don’t need a sight alignment tool, it can be done with a vise, a small hammer, and a brass punch
Center it up using a ruler, verify at the range.
any y'all here own a G43? the rifle not the glockcock. Just picked one up the other day and I had to reinstall the safety and after installing it with a new retention clip the safety switch lever thingy fell off. I got it back on with little issue but I don't wanna get my first piercing from the safety when I shoot this thing
Friend, that’s not a very common rifle. I would go to /k/ with plenty of pictures, or seek out help from someone with more specific knowledge. I hate to be that guy, but I don’t think you’ll find your answers here.
That, and you gotta flex on the rest of /k/, you own a fucking G43.
Recommending /k/ as a source of information.
Seriously?
It’s that, Reddit, a gunsmith, or books. I simply provide options, it’s up to him to take a course of action.
If you know a gunsmith with experience in C&R, it's been hit or miss for me
I've only met one who can help me with a Ross restoration and he only knew of it from a relative, although the G43 might have more luck
There are plenty of other milsurp resources, forums, etc
Fair.
