send in the ultramarines. Matt Ward'll fix him.
Anatomy studies are gonna help you out more than any other one thing imo, @SuperRadicalLutra
What’s your end goal, though?
What do you want to get out of art?
@Anticom i mainly do it as stress relief &/or a hobby. but i feel that i should raise my own level at the prospect of ((( G E T T I N G P A I D ))). The S.U. fan that I'm buddies with, was paid $50 for a pin-up of reverse-gender Hitler w/ hyper tiddies.
$50.
That's an entire grocery run & some beer for me.
& yes; those are Otter ears & a tail.
Janky perspective , study from life and do Loomis
Nigga where does the brain go with eyeballs taking up 50% of the skull
he's a furry, he doesn't need one of those
Eyes are your biggest problem right now
They remind me of those really old “how to draw anime” books in school libraries
fig I

I can give you some pointers that helped me later when I'm home
Theres also a couple japanese artists I follow on twitter that have prospective drills that are helpfuk
@-={rostelle}=- i see what u mean... actually i'm going to rant some more about furries:
FUCK LIKE 99% OF FURRIES.
with whats going on with kerothewolf and shit fuck all furries tbh
don't wear that shit like a badge
same as sexuality
just get on with it
if you make it your only defining personality feature
can yall stop raping chihuahas to death with baseball bats
pls and thank
There's a lucid 1% of them that just draw half-animal caricatures like me, but the other 99% are societally-cancerous descendants of Sodom.
Loomis is honestly the best resource out there for figure drawing
& I give that lucid group to a "1%" b/c I still have some shred of hope there's others like me.
loomis and drawabox are holy grails of art
only thing I draw are mockups of warhammer builds I need to do
oh and circuit drawings for uni but
thats just nigga use a ruler lmao
@SuperRadicalLutra
For now stop drawing "what you want" and practise basics instead (anatomy, shading, line work, geometrics, etc):

Also Alphonso Dunn is a really good teacher for beginners, I'd suggest watching his videos in your spare time or before you draw to give yourself a task to complete:

Drawing naked /fit/ dudes is pretty much the best way to learn sub-surface material like muscles and skeleton structure.
