survival elements are... negligible

gunplay is more arcadey than cawadooty

you've literally got a levelling system that allows rando NPC's to tank headshots better than power armour

it used to be a dungeon crawler with guns

then 3/NV/4 were Oblivion/Morrowind/Skyrim with guns

and now it's just some kind of bastard lovechild of Destiny and Rust

with a Fallout visual pack

honestly RUST has more in common with stalker

fairly hard survival elements, emphasis on scavenging, moderately realistic combat

and a player progression based on "you're only as good as your gear"
