i will cook for you
There's tonnes over here
IIRC, they were made in the largest numbers and the sight improvements are going to be useful.
My friend got his in awful condition for $200
Bargain
What I'm going to do is collect uniforms from ww2 and have a matching rifle for each uniform
Not too bad. there were better ones hanging around $350
alright
if you want to do that and have a good bolt gun, get the Enfield
if you want that to be easier, but somewhat expensive, get an M1 and US gear
I can only really get bolt actions thanks to uk law
and if you want garbage go Italian or USSR
ah
alright then
I assumed you were a burger
Full blooded brit
Go brit then. Its just the best all around. Local availability for uniform stuff too
i cook many thing for gun
a feast
@Doomfan98 ya know, if practicality really isn't your thing a nugget could be an alright idea for you. I rather like mine, but mostly because of how bad it is. There is not a time fingerfucking it that I don't think to myself "holy shit they designed it that way" and that always puts a smile on my face
if the price difference is significant, I think that does actually make up for a lot of its shortcomings
Would Ishapore .308s be a big thing in the UK
I want an ish
Mainly so I don't have to feed 303
Is it the brits or germans that are autistic about putting active use military cartridges in civie hands?
Probably both
Then again ammo laws aren't too bad
One can own a 50 bmg bolt action
Sometimes you need a good reason to own a fire arm though
yeah
joining a club for enfield owners would be a good enough reason
make some calls and get them to vouch for you if you need your good reason
an Ishapore would be great assuming its in good condition. But, IIRC, you are limited on how much ammo you can own at a time so its not like the US where it becomes a better solution to buy in bulk and horde it
I'd also have to store the guns and ammo in separate rooms in separate safes
But yeah I'm thinking of moving somewhere closer to a good range before I start purchasing
alright
that's really unreasonable, but I've heard worse
It's pretty shite but the government probably won't change it
@Innaswamp I own one and honestly the only good thing about it is that it feeds .308, it's not a terribly fast rifle, bolt is clunky for an Enfield and my example has some screwed up sights.
