@Innaswamp Why can't straight blowback have really beefy springs so the bolt doesn't hit the back of the receiver, wouldn't the shooting experience be a lot nicer then with less experienced recoil

You want the bolt to go all the way back to ensure that your bolt clears the casing and properly ejects

If you mess with how far the bolt goes back you will wind up having a FTE or missfeed
