Lowers ~$50
Kits ~$50
With a ~$9 wojtek adjustable gas
And a Magpul forend
You can make an AR $350
The nitride BCA barrels are superb
Big Daddy Unlimited has the Aero Precision AC-15M complete rifle for just over $500 shipped currently
The upper without forward assist is 👌
Colt 6920 upper assembly for $359 shipped with code FN3 at Brownells, Inc.
6920 is a great starter but the 16" carbine gas is a terrible setup
A cheap adjustable gas block fixes it
Free float aftermarket = $
colt > poors AR build
Have you seen how bad new colts are
They exist on the name
Fortis is running 50% off most shit
don't remind me about the colt expanse
the 6920s were their best
at the price point
Most of the quality from AR is just how it's assembled
The cheapest *>Anderson* upper I can find, properly assembled to exactly 40 FtLbs on a chamber based bench block with proper timing shims will outshoot an FN m4 that some government employee ugga dugga'd to 80ftlbs
yea, but for the most part, it'll never matter to the average AR owner who barely shoots their rifle
You can take a BCA nitride 6.5 18" to .6 moa easy
The steel not so much
Mixed results on steel but it has the shortest barrel life
yea, I'm sure you could build an anderson with a premium stainless barrel that'll do the same thing
just stating that it doesn't matter for most people whether they spend $500 on an AR or $2500, they aren't ever going to use the rifle enough to appreciate the "build quality" and materials
unless they're just downright awful and out of spec
I mean if I use my AR like all my other shit investing in high end parts is a good idea
Just ordered the ruger ar 556 mpr my ni🅱️🅱️a
$560
Would Aresenal Ak furniture rated for stamped receivers work on my WASR
If it's stamped then it should
Keep in mind its an ak
So it will probably require fitting even if it is to spec
