not sure how that works if you want to sell
I know a guy who has 44 hectares of privately owned forest in northern Sweden
He hunts and shoots on it without question
I do not know if that answers your question or if what he does it entirely legal as an immigrant I only have a small window into the laws I've specifically researched
I am also a bit dwarfed in this regard, they're all so wealthy and I am just a "poor," country boy.
Also you can do other niche shit, like hunt with any military weapon made prior to 1941
heh, mp40 here I come
seems about the same as the US
as long as you're X hundred feet away from buildings
safe backstops
and the neighbors don't complain
^
@Vargvid You got some input
What's the question here
Can you shoot on your own property = no
also yeah that
If you live outside of cities you can generally go shoot anywhere in the forests and it'll be legal
Allemansrätten is a big deal, so it's not always sure your large owned plot of land will not have people camping in it though
oops, got shot trespassing
Basically in Sweden an old king gave everyone the right to roam
yeah
interesting
It's now a "constitutional law" or however you would call it here
A priviledge that has the reverance of a right
weird
no one really cares in the US unless it's corporately or privately owned iirc
and certain govt. property
m well that is the point, it unrestricts private and corporate owned land
so no angry corporate man can come screaming at you
oh, now that makes more sense
yeah
not sure I agree with that
but I dint grow up with it
It's rooted deeply in our society and people
Taught alot about it back in school, not sure if they still do it though
basically = nature is for everyone and nobody has the right to restrict it
and that's why we have protected national parks
although as you said, it's ingrained in the culture
here, nature is just a dumping ground to most people
yea, it's a shame
