The only thing is; When it comes to High Crimes that have been committed by past Administration Cabinet Members, there's no Law that say they cannot be Criminally Indicted and Arrested even while persuing a Political Party's nomination for any said office. That's the "Myth" that's being floated around. Those that float that idea still haven't proven their point with the Facts and Truth and The Sauce.
The only one's that have "Real Immunity" are that of Congress while in Congressional Sesseion. I'm still waiting on that "Sauce" from that side that float the "Myth" of Immunity from Prosecution while running for President.
POTUS Trump, however cannot be re-tried in any circumstance in the format of Impeachment under the Double Jepordy Clause.
Commit Treason, Sedition, Mutiny, Advocate for Overthrow; there's no such thing as "Immunity from Prosecution", none. That falls strictly under UCMJ, not Regular Federal Courts.
