So workout are about escalating gains more then just being active are they?
I see a lot of people who are "active" in the gym, but don't grow. You need progressive overload combined with enough protein. Without eating/supplementing enough protein you might as well stay home.
To quickly gain strength, especially as a beginner, I'd recommend the 5x5 program. There's also an app to make it easier
