@MufflePuff well fapping is enjoyable which can lead to distraction and the want to do it, if you let your body do it for you, to my experience, after 2 months you begin to not feel much of an urge and later become somewhat immune, if fapping helps clear your mind, power to you, I clear my mind through other methods such as meditation, creating music, working on cars ect. Im not sure how to compare it to a hardcore workout, I guess you could say that abstaining from masturbation is more "difficult" since you are rejecting pleasure
