Nah, porn isn't poison. Just too much of it is

2019-03-02 17:00:28 UTC

So it might indicate a health issue.

2019-03-02 17:00:33 UTC

youre failing yourself

2019-03-02 17:00:40 UTC

if you watcg portn

2019-03-02 17:00:50 UTC

go meditate

2019-03-02 17:01:00 UTC

Why?

2019-03-02 17:01:11 UTC

Only if you change your attitude

2019-03-02 17:01:12 UTC

How is it a failure? Otherwise, I'd be focused on sex.

2019-03-02 17:01:13 UTC

@secrite I see. It's not too often, then

2019-03-02 17:01:36 UTC

if you watch porn in moderation, you probably value your time enough that you're not going to waste a few hours on the prowl when you can knock that tension out in 15 to 30 minutes and then get back to doing what you actually want to be doing.

2019-03-02 17:01:40 UTC

I'm too against porn, but you don't have to preach

2019-03-02 17:01:47 UTC

🍿

2019-03-02 17:01:58 UTC

No popcorn! Too many carbs!

2019-03-02 17:02:00 UTC

I view porn/mast as literally a hygiene need.

2019-03-02 17:02:05 UTC

🥓

2019-03-02 17:02:13 UTC

If I don't need it, I go without it.

2019-03-02 17:02:20 UTC

Kind of like pooping.

2019-03-02 17:02:25 UTC

Yes.

2019-03-02 17:02:25 UTC

Porn helps me to drop steam, but it drops my energy as well, so it's harder to get back to work.

2019-03-02 17:02:36 UTC

@Misanthropic Imperial I've never had sex with a dude and don't really have any interest in doing so. So when I say that I never found sex all that pleasureable yes I meant with women but I doubt it would be better with men. I am circumcized which I think plays a big part. The only part of sex that I find in the least bit enjoyable is ejaculating inside a vagina bareback. But due to the risks involved in that I don't do it thus I avoid sex as my hand is nearly as good.

2019-03-02 17:02:38 UTC

You don't actually look forward to it. It just needs to be taken care of when the urge hits.

2019-03-02 17:02:48 UTC

I'm thinking porn for me has more cons than pros

2019-03-02 17:02:59 UTC

Maybe.

2019-03-02 17:03:03 UTC

Maybe it's like drinking milk.

2019-03-02 17:03:09 UTC

@Lilu Using a condom during masturbation as well as a silicone masturbator can help.

2019-03-02 17:03:24 UTC

Sex researchers deal with sexual dysfunctions like low stimuli on the regular.

2019-03-02 17:03:25 UTC

Some people enjoy milk freely and it's pleasant addition to their diet. Others... well... rocket shits.

2019-03-02 17:03:39 UTC

if you think porn is okay, its likeyh because you grew up watching too much of it thinking it's okay, and a lack of sex

2019-03-02 17:03:41 UTC

The general treatment for sexual anhedonia is a slow acclimation toward less sensation while still achieving orgasm.

2019-03-02 17:03:55 UTC

Some nofaps maybe are onto something when they talk about all that shit of "redirecting energy into something productive"

2019-03-02 17:04:04 UTC

Ideally, to be able to achieve low stimulation orgasm without porn.

2019-03-02 17:04:11 UTC

@Darkness Didn't even realize porn was a thing until I was 20.

2019-03-02 17:04:22 UTC

That usually helps sexual functioning for people with sexual anhedonia or delayed orgasm.

2019-03-02 17:04:40 UTC

@Cato_Malgus I tried the NoFap and was productive for like 2 months but my sex drive became insatiable. It started interfering with classes.

2019-03-02 17:04:46 UTC

Delayed orgasm is a considerable problem for some - far moreso than "premature" ejaculation in many cases.

2019-03-02 17:05:00 UTC

Both of you are right. @Cato_Malgus @secrite

2019-03-02 17:05:10 UTC

The key is moderation. Just like everything in life.

2019-03-02 17:05:34 UTC

"nofap" is not healthy. Ask any doctor, a lack of ejaculation considerably increases risk of prostate problems. Not just cancer.

2019-03-02 17:05:35 UTC

@hel Yeah I think so too

2019-03-02 17:05:47 UTC

Or, rather, I'd say _not ejaculating_ isn't healthy.
