Let's say we're agents destined to maximize happiness. We all have different environments and are setup in a different way so we're good/bad in different things

But happiness is not defined.

You could try to sustain a lifestyle of drugs and partying, but that will be short-lived

It's easily confused with bliss and pleasure.

But seriously though, why not take up narcotics

You can be fatally overdosed with narcotics and therefore be blissed out *for the rest of your life*.

But they might be the answer if we develop a certain narcotic that really cures your unhappiness without negative effects
