2019-01-29 07:25:32 UTC

Anyone here with a college degree that regrets their decision/didn't provide them with any good opportunities?

2019-01-29 07:25:56 UTC

ask that in a sjw server lol

2019-01-29 07:26:06 UTC

2019-01-29 07:26:11 UTC

i can't get a job

2019-01-29 07:26:12 UTC

find a shit ton of stories there. if they are willing to admit it

2019-01-29 07:29:44 UTC

I'm beginning to doubt it will be a worthwhile investment of time/money. Regardless, my problem to figure out.

2019-01-29 07:30:29 UTC

We don't know your circumstance but we can formulate pros and cons with logic

2019-01-29 07:33:20 UTC

I regret mine simply because teaching is 4 years

2019-01-29 07:33:26 UTC

And I could be an electricians apprentice

2019-01-29 07:34:28 UTC

I'm going for an associate of arts in Philosophy. The hope was to look for employment in a tech company as they apparently hire philosophy majors, though I'm starting to doubt my prospects. May need to switch course and pursue trade school because (I guess) it is the more practical option.

2019-01-29 07:35:17 UTC

At the end of the day, it will just require research on my part. Not sure why I'm inquiring. idk, perhaps just to get other thoughts.

2019-01-29 07:35:50 UTC

You should go for a tech degree to get into tech, "apparently" isn't a solid prospect

2019-01-29 07:36:07 UTC

There are quite a few self-taught coders in here

2019-01-29 07:36:26 UTC

Philosophy in tech beats women in tech

2019-01-29 07:36:46 UTC

*Anything in tech

2019-01-29 07:37:13 UTC

Yes.

2019-01-29 07:37:30 UTC

Ay wassup

2019-01-29 07:37:40 UTC

I have some experience with Python. May be a route to take.

2019-01-29 07:38:25 UTC

Went for mechanical engineering, gonna learn tech myself

2019-01-29 07:39:00 UTC

How are y'all preparing for the financial collapse?

2019-01-29 07:39:43 UTC

What's our timeline on the collapse?

2019-01-29 07:39:57 UTC

Because I am not prepared.

2019-01-29 07:40:02 UTC

On the edge

2019-01-29 07:40:11 UTC

2019-01-29 07:42:26 UTC

2019-01-29 07:43:32 UTC

im finna release the gates of the prisons

2019-01-29 08:25:39 UTC

I'm just learning how to get water/food and scouting out a nice place in the forest

2019-01-29 08:30:55 UTC

The desert is safer. Everyone's first choice is the forest.

2019-01-29 08:31:40 UTC

Here they're all going to the beach

2019-01-29 08:36:21 UTC

With that said the desert is a much harsher environment; good survival/hunting skills are obv essential.

2019-01-29 08:37:51 UTC

Skills of which I don't have, so would be a fun scenario for me. ofc most have no idea how to survive outside of society.

2019-01-29 08:41:19 UTC

So, how is everyone? First time here, hope all ya'll are doing good.
