What's wrong with emo?
That’s a weird thought
We went from dark and brooding to colorful and fruity
Some of the heaviest bands that i listen to are in the genre called "emo".
Since no one is mocking emos anymore, now is soyboy turn
I like the goths more
Emo was an offshoot of punk... "soyboy" is just a term that tradcon idiots obsessing over testosterone use and are worried about soy because they feel the need to guard the masculinity at all costs.
Still dark, but not as edgy
Soyboys aren't tradcons. And they are like that due to MSM and social media alienation (imho)
You misunderstood me. People that use the term to essentially castrate men are tradcons.
Punk and Metal: The Big Brothers of Hard Rock
I like goth, emo, hardcore, post-hardcore, metal, black metal, death metal, metal core, etc.
and of course many of those are offshoots of punk
Hold on, @Happy Humble Hermit can you tell us the ratio of females/ males in you college? And the ratio of soyboys?
Like he's going to know lol. The best that he can do is look up some statistics about the male to female ratio, not if men are "weak" or not.
When I was in university, it was a mostly female school. Like 51-55% female
From what I’ve heard, universities tend to highly dislike masculine white males, and dating is not a good idea because of yes means yes or whatever
@Salsacookies seems like tfm is right in this subject
I don't feel brainwashed. How about instead of playing the "woe is me, im being brainwashed card" you instead use the university to think in the most fantastic and unpredictable ways imaginable. They have all of the tools for that. Academic journals, books, supreme access to all sorts of databases, you name it. Take advantage of it.
Since my idea was a university slowly being taken over by a hostile ideology, I figured some accounts of real university drama would be good references to make a tense atmosphere in my story
@Salsacookies Not in my experience. White males were perfectly alright. Its just that because of the socio-political climate that universities are apart of in a broader community, that they feel obligated to introduce students to discourses on power, race, privilege, etc.
As for dating, yes avoid that shit.
Yeah, that makes sense
College harbors nothing but roasties and promiscuity.
Also, I’m not going to college, so this is pure material for my book
Sticking your dick in a college whore is about as dangerous as sticking it in open sewage.
@Salsacookies I think that you should go if you can afford it. If you cannot afford it, then figure out something else.
Yeah, it’s something unaffordable atm
I understand.
My last semester's tuition was so high that I had to pay out of pocket.
And I'm still in debt lol
That and trying to get the means to go to college would be ridiculous
But honestly, its not the end of the world.
I can just learn a trade and write
Thinking of janitor work or biohazard
I'm not saying to give up and simply avoid college per se, but rather to see if you want to go under a cost/benefit analysis.
for me, it payed off at least a little because i couldn't stay with parents at the time.
and i did have a job at the university as well.
but hey,if you determine that its not for you, then cool.
Just to be clear, I'm a full supporter of the Brotherhood of Steel. Ad Victoriam!
