I'll have to make up my mind once I see it on the screen haha
Have you seen The Arrival? It's another film by Villeneuve
No, but I need to.
It is great
noice
The arrival was one of the good movies with a female protagonist because it didn't get in the way much and i liked the lovecraft vibe from it
He also directed sicario which was a great portrayal of a female protagonist because she broke down under pressure and was manhandled
Right? Anything that gives off a Lovecraftian vibe is intriguing
You know what other movie was goos with a female protagonist? Atomic Blonde.
I haven't seen that one
Its great. Cherlize Theron is nude in several scenes and kicks the shit out of KGB agents during the fall of the Berlin Wall.
I like Charlize Theron. Come to think of it, Tom Hardy was in that one too right? Well they were both on Mad Max: Fury Road
James MacAvoy was in Atomic Blonde with her.
Mad Max: Fury Road was very good too
Ah, for some reason I thought I saw Tom Hardy in the trailer for it
np haha
Lmao it was MacAvoy, I'm a fucking idiot
don't beat yourself up over it haha
its just movie actors
I'm not beating myself up over it lol
Big facts
Its too bad that nowadays its mostly boring dogshit if a woman is the lead lol
I remember seeing the Hunger Games and it was a total snooze fest.
Hunger Games was terrible. Most film adaptations of books are terrible
indeed
I remember liking the first Maze Runner film because it stuck to the source material. But the rest were utter shit
I actually liked all three movies but never read the books lol
The books are great. I loved that series in middle school
I should read them
There's a fourth book that serves as a prequel, that one is the most interesting in my opinion
Oh? I never even heard of that. *Curiosity intensifies*
I can't remember the name, let me search it up
The Kill Order
noice
I'm a bit foggy on the details but it basically covers the inception of the scorch disease and offers a deeper look into the dystopian environment of the Maze Runner universe
Oh wow, just from the wikipedia entries its like a whole other look into the origins of Thomas and how WCKD tried to handle the scorch disease...
and other characters are mentioned as well
I specifically remember this one part where a character was painting various plants with pollen in order to maintain their crops
wow...
Just thinking about that really makes you appreciate bees and flies haha
