I think it's the only one on youtube lol
There's a hypnosis session for 'No More Mr Nice Guy'. But it's a bit longer than your regular guided meditation.
Link?
I'd check that one out. I sometimes fall into nice guy.
It's more of a personal issue but does anyone else struggle viewing women as broken creatures in need of fixing? I was raised by a single mom, with a sister, so I was always the one they turned to to fix stuff and my mom treated me like a husband.

You don't have meme permissions 😦
Same here. But it has truth in it.
Women need men more than men need women.
Yeah, it makes me turn into a bit of a simp sometimes with my sister/mom and a few times with a girl I was seeing.
The Rational Male states that only mothers love you unconditionally.
Referring to 'zoning' and whatnot
She would always have drama and her world collapsing. EVERY fucking week. I ended it after 6 months but it was fucking insane.
You can still love women, but always keep in mind that they will not love you back the way you want to.
Nobody really loves you unconditionally.
Even your mother still has expectations off of you.
Even a dog does.
I've read/researched a bit but will definitely delve more into it
No problem : D
Whoops I meant zooming lol. I kind of came to the same conclusion from watching International Space Station livestreams but it's dope to find out it's been expanded upon.
Though I should've known. Nothing is completely 'new'
@hel I like Stoicism. The only thing I disagree with is the core tenet that we can't control anything so might as well not worry about it. I think we can control our small circle of influence and shouldn't worry but need to strive for excellence.
If you're stuck in a traffic jam, I wouldn't worry about that. But if you're fat, then worrying is great cause it helps you make the first step towards losing weight.
Exactly.
If you're truly content with yourself, why strive for 'excellence' ?
I don't think that's what it means, it simply means that you don't need to worry about things you can't change.
Stoicism can offload responsibility too easily. "Ah, it is fate I am bankrupt and fat." No... you're terrible with income/expense in both food and money.
@ColdEmbraceOfDeath Yes!
That line of thinking has certainly helped me in ways, like I used to think I am too small and insignificant and that it sucks to think that I can't change things and I learned that it is what it is, that I don't need to beat myself about it.
Seems like you got the 'memento mori' part down.
Exactly.
There is a fine line between indifference vs. stoicism.
The example of being fat and broke is indifference rather than being stoic.
Hey
Alright I am off to work!
Good luck, friend.
Take care, @machtyn.
