Onahole guide

2018-10-17 12:17:17 UTC

Best way to deal with problems is to realize how insignificant they truly are. See them for what they are and blow through them right there. Make the decision.

2018-10-17 12:17:56 UTC

@machtyn fleshlight launch.

2018-10-17 12:18:02 UTC

I don't see how trivializing them is viewing it for what it is. I don't see how view it as a small thing makes it easier to deal with.

2018-10-17 12:18:16 UTC

Yeah, transmutation... which brings up my other goals perfectly:

Mind: I am going to move out of my current living situation and save 60-65% of my income. I am debating going back to the local CC to take more physics/calculus and other courses (1-2 every semester while working full time) or focusing entirely on a SaaS or other software product. I want to use this next year to figure out WHICH NICHE within technology I truly like/excel at because I have bounced around a lot in technology.

Body: I want to get my 6 pack back, so OMAD + KETO with barbell/calisthenics/rowing.

Soul: I am going to take up meditation.

I honestly don't have any other goals so I could use some help.

@ColdEmbraceOfDeath Yeah, I went the cheaper route and just bought their $99 Tenga Flip Zero Black.

2018-10-17 12:18:46 UTC

Pick up a hobby, a craft of some kind.

2018-10-17 12:18:51 UTC

@ColdEmbraceOfDeath most problems are not significant. It’s not trivializing, it’s putting them into perspective without emotion.

2018-10-17 12:19:18 UTC

You have no idea. I used to get suicidal over small things, but now I realized that they're not that significant.

2018-10-17 12:19:20 UTC

If they're not significant, why would you bother dealing with them then? Why not let it be then?

2018-10-17 12:19:25 UTC

@MufflePuff I agree to an extent. I am an over-thinker by nature so I do tend to PEDASTALIZE problems. I will focus on realizing "what's the worse case really?"

2018-10-17 12:19:30 UTC

It’s not choosing to view it a certain way, it’s acknowledging how big it really is.

2018-10-17 12:19:54 UTC

@ColdEmbraceOfDeath Outside of gaming, reading, lifting and programming... I don't know what I want to do.

2018-10-17 12:20:05 UTC

Do you have an instrument?

2018-10-17 12:20:17 UTC

For the first time in my life, I am content and at peace but I feel stifled and like I am decaying.

2018-10-17 12:20:30 UTC

I never took to music but I did enjoy singing.

2018-10-17 12:20:35 UTC

Trying to learn something on wikipedia, it's like a fucking rabbit hole.

2018-10-17 12:20:43 UTC

That's true 😄

2018-10-17 12:20:46 UTC

@machtyn that’s a solid plan man. Honestly you’ve already done the hardest part in figuring it out.

2018-10-17 12:21:07 UTC

Check out minimalism. It's letting go of things that don't serve you anymore.

2018-10-17 12:21:16 UTC

Learn gardening, sewing, etc.,

2018-10-17 12:21:18 UTC

@MufflePuff Yeah. I want these next 14 months to be totally dedicated to ME and my habits. I want to cement these fuckers in place so it's second nature.

2018-10-17 12:21:24 UTC

A musical instrument.

2018-10-17 12:21:42 UTC

I'd want to learn those really, to learn how to cook, to be able to sew, make cosplay props etc.,

2018-10-17 12:21:46 UTC

@hel Bro 😄 I own a total of 100 items. No lie. I own nothing. I LOVE minimalism. I discovered minimalism when I was 15.

2018-10-17 12:22:28 UTC

So much freedom that you don't know what to do with it, yep.

2018-10-17 12:22:38 UTC

@ColdEmbraceOfDeath I've looked at so many hobby lists online and honestly nothing really piques my interest. I really really love technology/engineering/math in medicine/finance.

2018-10-17 12:22:44 UTC

@hel Yes!

2018-10-17 12:23:01 UTC

RIP, a minister got MeToo'd and he has resigned. But he says he's going to challenge them false allegations against him.

2018-10-17 12:23:07 UTC

Yeah, I’m a lifetime overthinker. Took me a long time to change the way I obsessed over things.

2018-10-17 12:23:10 UTC

What about doing nothing and let yourself sit still?

2018-10-17 12:23:11 UTC

I could literally sell everything I own and take a bus to Chicago or NYC or LA with no issue. I could pack up within 20 mins and drive anywhere.

2018-10-17 12:23:30 UTC

Imagine being able to do that with a woman in your life.

2018-10-17 12:24:08 UTC

@MufflePuff Yes! It finally clicked when I graduated and started working... I used to BINGE learn. I would just learn a ton of stuff but then I switched to "just in time" learning and would write out to-do lists on projects, then as I started building something, I'd learn the pre-req knowledge required to do it.

2018-10-17 12:24:23 UTC

@hel I am debating making that my entire weekend.

2018-10-17 12:24:53 UTC

@hel I have been listening to this vikings meditation thing that's pretty amazing and I really do value just sitting in nature and chilling.

2018-10-17 12:24:57 UTC

OH MY GOD

2018-10-17 12:25:05 UTC

You too?
