I prefer to work alone in almost any case if I can help it.
@Iheanacho I feel ya, I am that way, just more hopeful when it comes to what I can make of my life
Working alone insures that no one else can fuck up the name you've built, perfectly rational
But I am at least wise about it too. I don't just try to take on the entire world by myself. There are somethings I can not do easily on my own such as marketing and PR. I need to hire or exploit outsiders to cover that. But that does not mean I have to enjoy company. I only work with others when strictly necessary and this also incluides MGTOW and other nihilists.
I am on my own side.
Naturally.
I believe in you lot, you guys get it, disagreements or not.
However, if there is something I find can be done alone and bring the same or better resutts than team work, I will eagerly do so. Like programing and designing games.
We are innately selfish and working towards their own means
That is where this game was suppose to come in.

The fact we are here means we are either looking for more, or wanting for more, both are admirable
Or wanting to give more I meant
Even with outsiders, there are risks I still have to carefully prevent or reduce. I unfortunately was struck by one such risk on my game last year in the Fall.If she was working full in a team or touched my art, my game would have completely bombed in progress.
I was just lucky it was voice acting and funding that was butchered. It could have been worse with a team.
Plus at least when i work alone, I can worry less about royalties or dividends to team members or employees.
@Iheanacho Huzzah! What kind of game was it?
Maze Qore.
It is funny the gaming industry themselves are lying to us that it is not easy or necessary to make a game alone anymore, when in fact the opposite proved true. It is much easier to make a game alone now! Thanks to the marketplace!
qore?
Yes.
It's jargon.
Like Hard Qore
Oh, so focused on mazing?
Yes.
Any tertiary game elements on top?
The game is basically a squad-based RPG shooter taking place in a max security prison. Not your normal one either. It is very special and elemental.
FUN!
I like that concept
Ever play Liberal Crime Squad?
- Character relations can be built.
- Every character is expendable, even the unique ones.
- Certain enemies and bosses have personalities and interesting dialogue.
- Secret areas and sector passages that lead to much more secrets, including easter eggs, and even new event sequences.
- Endings vary based on squadron and the prisoner population's survival.
- Oh ho ho so controversial!
And MGTOW references.
@Iheanacho I like! Please continue developing and posting progress here!
aight let me use the restroom and get some more ice before i start the stream
The problem is, the funding disaster left me in more debt. I spent this entire year trying to pay it off. I still have half it left to pay off.
@Happy Humble Hermit See you soon, great job on the TFM stream btw
But from this ordeal, assuming I can get the debt paid off and resume development. It wont go without punishment for the saboteurs. I now got a new idea to add to the secrets of Maze Qore, even if just satirical spite.
Game dev is no joke, beyond what I can do. Good luck @Iheanacho
Eyyy yo
