They are fairly safe. Wimmins don't go into hard labour type jobs. And the automation of the trades is still a ways off at least

Blue collared jobs don't pay as much though and are kind of risky, you can get a finger and shit removed

Get into a STEM field, College sucks but lay low, get shit done and leave

Trades pay very respectable wages. Tfm recently covered an article detailing 75k annual salary jobs that are unfilled. As well there is other stuff like trucking. Plenty of options each with thier own costs and benefits. Just remember. Stem is overall the most risky cause the thots claw thier way in. It's the most unstable. Plus it generally requires a huge investment in college or programming knowledge whereas trades and other jobs start immediately. Pick whats best for you.
