I wasnt twisting anything. Unless the information presented on how vaccines work has intentionally been misrepresented

2018-11-13 02:33:36 UTC

Vaccines is your position, and you misinterpreted how it being an advancement in medicine could remedy the symptoms of genetic predisposition. In this case being the diseases that you mentioned polio, small pox etc.

2018-11-13 02:35:14 UTC

Do vaccines cure diseases, yes or no?

2018-11-13 02:35:47 UTC

Strawmaning my argument yes or no?

2018-11-13 02:35:58 UTC

>.>

2018-11-13 02:36:09 UTC

You're putting words in my mouth

2018-11-13 02:36:21 UTC

No I'm calling you out

2018-11-13 02:36:29 UTC

Calling out what?

2018-11-13 02:36:38 UTC

@Null are you suggesting that vaccines do nothing?

2018-11-13 02:36:43 UTC

You disingenuous manner of debate

2018-11-13 02:36:54 UTC

having a genetic vunerability to an illness doesnt make a vaccine work any differently

2018-11-13 02:37:00 UTC

Vaccines cure diseases, I did not say that they cure genetic predisposition

2018-11-13 02:37:04 UTC

You said that

2018-11-13 02:37:14 UTC

vaccines dont really cure diseases

2018-11-13 02:37:25 UTC

thats not an entirely accurate statement

2018-11-13 02:37:27 UTC

@shadowlessnexus not at all they prevent disease. But if there was no predisposition or vulnerability for it then there would be no need for it.

2018-11-13 02:37:29 UTC

1V1 tekken Fight Should clear all this Shit up TBH.

2018-11-13 02:37:48 UTC

@Rhunespire incorrect

2018-11-13 02:37:49 UTC

@Null well there is though. because diseases mutate all the time

2018-11-13 02:38:05 UTC

and if its serious enough you want a vaccine for a mutated strain

2018-11-13 02:38:19 UTC

And the strain after that ideally

2018-11-13 02:39:12 UTC

@shadowlessnexus virology is a different beast entirely because depending on the manner of replication their mutation rates can be slow or fast.

2018-11-13 02:39:50 UTC

well sure. but my point here is that just being genetically resistant to a virus doesnt mean much

2018-11-13 02:40:03 UTC

especially since in some cases you can just become a carrier

2018-11-13 02:40:15 UTC

im not a virologist or anything like that

2018-11-13 02:40:29 UTC

There is always that possibility, same thing with people being naturally immune

2018-11-13 02:40:49 UTC

It's a genetic arms race, once we close a door the virus or pathogen looks for a window to enter but if you continually deny them they'lol eventually bugger off.

2018-11-13 02:41:12 UTC

meh. you guys hash it out. imma go to the store and get some stuff.

2018-11-13 02:41:43 UTC

I have nothing else here. I was waiting for Zodds opinion on something from earlier

2018-11-13 02:42:43 UTC

No Comment @Rhunespire , The term mgtow is up for interpretation at this point and No one should Claim it TBH.

2018-11-13 02:43:01 UTC

i do claim ahri tho

2018-11-13 02:43:08 UTC

I dont disagree

2018-11-13 02:43:20 UTC

@Rhunespire latent immunity is because of genetic mutation that renders that person resistant or straight up immune because of subtly changes in how the body works.

2018-11-13 02:43:27 UTC

Ahri is Mid tier at best

2018-11-13 02:43:38 UTC

I'm well aware of how latent immunity works.

2018-11-13 02:43:56 UTC

says the nigga that doesnt even have a waifu

2018-11-13 02:44:03 UTC

Know what heterozygous advantage is?

2018-11-13 02:44:03 UTC

or is that mufflepuff?

2018-11-13 02:44:06 UTC

However, if vaccines only cure the symptoms and not the disease then they arent vaccines

2018-11-13 02:44:38 UTC

@Null heterozygous sounds familiar but didnt study a lot of biology in college

2018-11-13 02:44:45 UTC

vaccines dont cure anything. they basically give the body a weak copy of the virus so that it knows what to look out for
