@JDB its all jus bio evolution... jus njoy it

2018-11-20 16:42:29 UTC

just decomposing this makes me happy, and brings about positive emotions

2018-11-20 16:43:05 UTC

its the secret to giving zero shits😄

2018-11-20 16:43:39 UTC

it was common for our grand parent, but nor for people today, because the society, the tv shows and the social networks distract us for what really count for us

2018-11-20 16:44:30 UTC

i understand that, but without understanding how our subconscious works aren't we just going on autopilot? i want to take control of my subconscious - i don't know why i want to - maybe it's because i think the grass will be greeenr

2018-11-20 16:45:37 UTC

u can't 'control' ur subconcious... u can only repress and direct it

2018-11-20 16:45:56 UTC

i can try and understand why it works the way it does though

2018-11-20 16:46:06 UTC

true

2018-11-20 16:46:31 UTC

and once you know that, you can begin to rewire the principles drilled in at a young age that you live by without even knowing

2018-11-20 16:46:55 UTC

u cant control it, u can only learn about yourself, what trauma u got through life from your birthday to today, work on them and reduce the power of your subconscious

2018-11-20 16:47:15 UTC

and to 'put' the updated hardware into your subconscious there's only 1 way to open the 'gate' - repetition

2018-11-20 16:47:24 UTC

it comes from your lizard brain... all instinct... controlling and ddirecting it is no more complicated than holding ur breath

2018-11-20 16:48:26 UTC

Is that actually possible? Affecting the subconscious mind on a conscious level?

2018-11-20 16:49:01 UTC

you know how people think that the idea of 'the grass will be greener' as a shallow thought ... isnt that exactly what evolution is? evolution is the idea that eventual changes to where 'we' currently are will lead to 'something better' .

2018-11-20 16:49:16 UTC

@Rhunespire no u can only learn to recognize it so u can control the outcome

2018-11-20 16:49:21 UTC

reduce the power, for sure, if you understanding the reason why your subconscious act like this

2018-11-20 16:49:45 UTC

@Rhunespire well yeah, things only get put into your subconscious through repetition and the stuff in your lizard brain

2018-11-20 16:50:12 UTC

It isn't exactly controlled though is it

2018-11-20 16:50:30 UTC

@JDB no dont agree with that, the "grass will be greener" principle is more a society stick I guess

2018-11-20 16:51:03 UTC

yeah my bad - i used to wrong word. you can't control it but you can defintelty influence it

2018-11-20 16:51:07 UTC

more efficient today with social network

2018-11-20 16:51:16 UTC

lizard brain (instinct) goes to mid brain (((emotion) goes to forbrain(control center and logic)... recognize where it comes from and is at ... then intervene

2018-11-20 16:54:26 UTC

@Shido oh okay - if we think of evolution as a person then 'evolution' doesn't want things to die. why doesn't 'evolution' want things to die? is 'evolution' assuming that if we survive then something better will come? aka 'the grass is greener' . i understand that this point has a shit ton of flaws in but at a conceptual level it's interesting to ponder.

2018-11-20 16:54:40 UTC

btw - what is the acc definition of a concept

2018-11-20 16:54:44 UTC

sun tzu had it right on conflict resolution..;. 5 weakness all rooted in instinct..;. rashness, eliitism, emotionalism, hesitance, and compassion..;. learn to manage them and recognize them in others to manage both you internal and external conflicts.

2018-11-20 16:55:53 UTC

compassion is weakness?

2018-11-20 16:56:37 UTC

can be yes... managing them means turning weakness into strength

2018-11-20 16:56:40 UTC

compassion can lead to obsession and becoming obsessed in something gives that thing 'control' over you

2018-11-20 16:57:14 UTC

acc no i'm wrong

2018-11-20 16:57:26 UTC

that doesn't make sense mb

2018-11-20 16:57:39 UTC

all the instincts interact as well

2018-11-20 16:58:05 UTC

can't all these instincts be derived from one over-ruling instinct?

2018-11-20 16:58:21 UTC

isn't that instinct 'desire'

2018-11-20 16:58:39 UTC

compassion can engender hesitance n a disadvantageous way for example

2018-11-20 16:58:42 UTC

having a desire will create all of these things

2018-11-20 16:58:53 UTC

but what causes dessire?

2018-11-20 16:59:07 UTC

a need to feel better? feeling inadequate?

2018-11-20 16:59:15 UTC

you can be kind and compassionate and not be 'under control'

2018-11-20 16:59:25 UTC

sometimes it's not about being RP or BP just being a decent person

2018-11-20 17:00:01 UTC

i know morals don't really matter but would you rather go out remembered by a lot of people or remembered by none? eventually we will all be forgotten, but you know?

2018-11-20 17:00:08 UTC

n men desire is usually meant to seek pleasure... ie a vassopressin high
