also my parents are against coding in general , they think i'll be an introvert with nofriends
The desire diminishs.... Yes... But that can be shifted
not that there's anything wrong with that
I'm sure if you were stimulated with different/new projects and always a part of "the newest thing" you might enjoy it
HM... restaurants huh? I thing I can help you then
i'm looking forward to going to school because, even tho student loans are high, it's 4 years that you can block out and devote yourself to building a foundation for your vocation
@ToastMcGhost yeah, i do enjoy it but i'm going to be working 8 hours a day, 2 hours commute and then when i'm back i have to spend time with my parents and then after all that i do want to code but i'm just drained and get pissed off - i know my situation really isnt bad at all but it's just a bit annoying because i just wish i had more time
if parents = bad, try get away from their influence
When I was in school, I did data entry for the college as a work study. I worked and studied in the same building and made some money with it
that'd be one of the good parts of going to college, the debt won't kill you, it's just relevant to y our income potential
while young - limited volunteer work is not bad either
@Nihbru yeah, i am trying to but i cant afford to move out yet, after 1 year at school i will then be able to move out and live with my brother - and wont need to move back home
i'm goiing to commute for my first year because i want to save enough so when i leave im out for good
and true
that's fair enough man 😃
what are you wanting to study? coding?
@ToastMcGhost that's sweet, i also think that if you can get a job that isnt labour then it's not as drining so you can work on ur hobbies when ur back home
yeah, computer science
cool that's good
the more subjective fields are hijacked as fuck by lefties and fems
@JDB that's how it was for me. Sat on my ass for 8 hours then went about my day. I always had Pandora and Reddit on my 2nd monitor so that was nice
theyr'e really good at hijacking paper topics too
i'm pretty set on making it a vocation so i'm not going to use college as just a fuckabout 4 years to party and get girls or all of that blue pill shit most guys do - i'm seeing at as 4 years where i am free to develop my foundations
@ToastMcGhost that's so sweet, i'm looking for excel data entry jobs too
yip. that'll be good 😃 just don't drink the coolaid and you'll be just right - at the same time though, prepare to be a wolf in sheeps clothing at some points
what does "wolf in sheeps clothing" mean?
at times, you have to nod, smile, and play along
from a social point as well as an curriculum point - lots of lame douche bags in those teaching positions
If a teacher or student goes on a leftist communism rant, don't sperg out and it'll run its course
some great people too, but overall, often polluted, so while you're filtering, you have to play a l ong a little bit
yeah
yeah i can imagine, i thnk i'l be able to keep emotionally stable and not lash out if you develop my productivity during my free time into things that are therapeutic, i'm looking forward to this so much
yeah lol
if you feel you need to lash out, log on here after 😃
A lot of combat veterans have a hard time in college. They live for years with a no-nonsense non-PC lifestyle, then they enter college and have to hold their tongue
yeah lol, i legit couldnt keep sane without destressing atleast once every few days on here
my mum is constantly saying that me and my brother needs to not move out together or we'll never get girlfriends because you'll just speak to each other
I follow the don't talk about politics or religion in a professional environment rule
Unless it's friends or something
^ this! And not even with friends most of the time but that's just me
