What's the primary reason most people retire in their 60s?

2018-11-29 09:56:18 UTC

because

2018-11-29 09:56:19 UTC

families to support?

2018-11-29 09:56:26 UTC

they took the slow lane to retirement

2018-11-29 09:56:35 UTC

or incurred responsibilities such as that

2018-11-29 09:56:49 UTC

but the funny thing is. if you you retire early and are financially independent

2018-11-29 09:57:05 UTC

stock market is going to return like 3% for like next 15 years or so

2018-11-29 09:57:06 UTC

you are in your prime for starting a family and such

2018-11-29 09:57:10 UTC

Time is money in a certain sense that you can make things by yourself instead of buying it or doing things on your own instead of having someone do it for you, but it takes time to do those things on your own and to acquire those skills.

spend less than you earn

2018-11-29 09:58:10 UTC

The money you spend frees up time that you can spend on something else.

2018-11-29 09:59:14 UTC

Crunch time is pretty bad, turn over rates are fairly high, so yeah take those into consideration as well.

2018-11-29 09:59:24 UTC

For the amount of money it costs to go out to eat once, you can buy lunch meat, a loaf of bread and whatever dressings

2018-11-29 10:00:10 UTC

Consider the time it takes to prepare a meal. If you can't do that, eating out is the option you have. But eating out is expensive and unhealthy.
